- Network
- Describes any group of two or more computer systems connected to one another and includes: LANs, WLANs, CANs, MANs, or HANs.
- Network operators
- The companies that own and operate the cellular networks. Also known as carriers.
- Node
- A network junction or connection point with every terminal, computer, hub and switch being a node. Each node has a unique network address, sometimes called a Data Link Control (DLC) address or Media Access Control (MAC) address.
